Hi all, trying not to panic but essentially from 16 weeks, baby has been an absolute kickboxer. Shocking midwives and sonographers at all appointments by just how active she is. Overall healthy pregnancy, minor concerns that she's small but nothing major.

She has a pretty set routine, by the time I've got out of bed in the morning and sat down on the sofa with my morning cuppa she's going mental with me, even at 39 weeks with limited room she doesn't care she'll kick me until I'm sore 😂

Well this morning, I've only had the tiniest little flutter, I've tried moving about, having some sugar and drinking plenty which doesn't seem to have had an effect. Been having contractions on and off for the past few days which haven't progressed into anything.

Just wondering how long I need to wait before ringing assessment clinic, as it's not like she hasn't moved at all, it's just the complete opposite to normal but don't wanna make the trip for no reason as it means sorting childcare out etc 😓

Any advice would be great 🥰

Hi all, at the assessment centre now, they say all seems good and she started kicking a bit when they put bands on. Being offered an induction regardless tho x

That’s good news, will you take the induction?

Hiya, opted to take the induction, booked in for Thursday unless any cancellations before then. Had a sweep before leaving to see if it set anything off naturally, had my bloody show last night and a couple of strong contractions but nothing since 😅

Glad you went and got checked out. As hot as it is (if you are in the SE) try and keep active, even bouncing on a birthing ball should help get things moving

Was their a space for you to have your induction ?
