Very worried! Pink discharge!

7 weeks pregnant today and when I wipe I've had a small amount of pink discharge...just went to toilet again and I have it again.. what do I do?? I'm so scared

Do you have an early pregnancy unit close by you can contact?

I'm currently at my mums . Can I call anyone that's near by? Thanks

It's a horrible feeling, I sympathise.
Try to get an emergency scan - but try to stay positive and don't panic. Breakthrough bleeding happens and doesnt mean the worst.

@Charlie14 I also had pink discharge all the way up to 11 weeks. I'm now 28 weeks and all is fine. I still don't know why it was happening. Get in touch with your epu, they should be able to offer you a scan

It's stopped now? Woke up and nothing there? Can I still contact my hospital and explain? Xx

Yes still call them and tell them if you’re worried and they can tell you what’s best to happen.

Same happened me and all was ok. But for your own piece of mind you should get in touch with epu, however sometimes from experience if it's not heavy bleeding they won't see u, I had to pay and get a pravite scan, good luck

I've had this in all my pregnancies early on and it was fine
It is worrying but also very normal

Thank you everyone. I called epu and they booked me for a scan tomorrow morning. I had gastric bypass surgery a year ago so I think they just wanna check it over. Thanks

Hello. Had a scan and baby was in the right place and heartbeat very strong...I then had alot of bleeding/discharge day after my scan but then stopped. Midwife said this is all very normal to lightly bleed but if your worried call early pregnancy unit xx

@Charlie14 thank you for letting me know 😊I have a scan booked at EPU tomorrow but can’t stop worrying as I had a mmc in May. Hopefully will be a good outcome like yours.

@Charlie14 well, thank you! I was so nervous, but scan showed a little heartbeat and measuring 5+6, I thought I was bang on 6 so I’m thinking that’s okay to be one day out given it’s so early.
They have prescribed me 4 weeks of progesterone pessaries given the bleeding and history, so hoping that will make a difference.
