I woke up at 6:15am to my waters breaking, went in to triage and they confirmed it was my waters and said my cervix was closed and only a small part of my mucus plug had come away. Between 1-2:30pm my entire mucus plug came away (whilst I was napping). It was a LOT, no blood.
It's been 16hrs since my waters went and no contractions yet, however with my mucus plug going does that mean I've started dilating? I can't find any information online about how many cm I could be, just that I'm dilating and effaced. I'm feeling sharp twinges here and there that's about it. I can feel slight trickling as well when I move or walk which I assume is my waters? Anyone had a similar experience? Fingers crossed my labour starts before I am induced in the morning 😣
