Itchy arm pits, 21 weeks pregnant?!

For the past two weeks my armpits have been incredibly itchy it’s driving me mad! I’ve tried different deodorants, no deodorants (but Christ I smell) shaving, not shaving and nothing helps! The internet isn’t very helpful so has anyone experienced this before? HELP

I had this first summer after I had DD and it’s come on again this year, although not as intense. With me it was literally just dry skin and my T-shirts/bras being tight under my arms and irritating the skin. I used O’Keefe’s moisturiser (yellow one) on the area and it cleared it up. Do that and if it persists after a few days call the midwife and tell them about the itching.

I find some of the 'natural' deodorants are quite irritating on my skin. I'd suggest seeing a GP though as you've had this for 2 weeks despite stopping using them. Hope you get this sorted x

Thank you both, it’s driving me absolutely crackers! Is it a midwife though who I’d speak to or a gp? I have no idea if it’s pregnancy related or not

I thought a GP may be able to prescribe you something to help. Try calling this morning and see if they can see you or at least issue a prescription
