Hi!
I'm newly pregnant with dc2. I'm excited and nervous! It's been a struggle to get here. For my first pg 5 yrs ago, I felt absolutely fine for the duration of it - my issues were mainly fatigue and anxiety.
This time round, I'm 4 weeks and I've had nausea, headaches and fatigue for a week. My job is in a very small org and I am constantly needed to be on top form. I don't want my colleagues to know I'm pregnant until I know everything is ok ideally - at the 12 week scan - but how do I manage sickness / illness and its impact on work bearing that in mind? Has anyone else been in a similar situation?
Luckily I can work from home lots. One colleague is getting annoyed we're not in the office more. How can I manage early pregnancy illness and work? Do I just keep quiet about not being well?
