after four MC I was put on cyclogest and that resulted In my healthy younger DC. I was out on cyclogest again for my last pregnancy and she’s now a strong healthy independent toddler!

I'm really glad I took cyclogest. I’m convinced it was the reason my last two pregnancies succeeded.

what are you worried about specifically?

Beth2025 · 23/06/2022 09:53

@frazzledasarock that's reassuring just inside the packaging it talks about limited and inconclusive data on the risk of congenital anomalies, including genital abnormalities in male or female infants, following intrauterine exposure during pregnancy. I guess they probably have to say that don’t they?

frazzledasarock · 23/06/2022 09:55

They need to put every possible side effect down.

my DC are absolutely healthy thankfully.

do you think you could talk this through with your consultant if it’s worrying you so much?

TaraBC · 23/06/2022 09:59

I was prescribed it after I had 3 early miscarriages. It helped me carry my baby boy, now a perfectly healthy (sometimes too healthy 😆) toddler to term. If they think you need it, defo take it.
Tip. Don't put them in just before a walk, they can slip out.
Good luck my dear!!

Tip: put them up your bum.

No leakage.

Sounds gross, but once you’ve tried it it’s fine.

Beth2025 · 23/06/2022 10:07

That’s great! Amazing news thank you @LividLaVidaLoca @TaraBC @frazzledasarock I feel much better. I asked yesterday they said no risk to baby I think dr google just doesn’t help

TaraBC · 23/06/2022 10:23

Dr Google can be tempting but can give a skewed idea of risks. xx

Have a look at the prism trial on google. It is very uselful to some pregnancies and is very safe.

I'm on it now.

Absolutely agree with previous comment - definitely put it up the bum!!!

Babyghirl · 23/06/2022 16:49

@Ladylou17
I'm on them now after 4 miscarriages and am 13+2 weeks pregnant never got past 10 weeks so they r helping me.

I agree with pp put them up the back end it's alot easier lol.

Beth2025 · 23/06/2022 17:33

Thanks @ohhollyfred @Babyghirl do you do that for both doses? Prism trial is very reassuring thank you x

Babyghirl · 23/06/2022 18:31

@Ladylou17
Yes morning and night no mess what so ever. And I have read if you put them up the front it can sometimes cause spotting after 4 miscarriages I was not risking that I would panic.
