Anyone had covid in pregnancy ? 😢 I'm terrified and just about to let my triage number know... any advice would be so welcome.

My friend did, she caught it at more or less 40 weeks, she was on day 10 the day she went in to be induced. No issues with the baby or her, she just felt very poorly.

Please don't be terrified 💐

The current variant of Covid is not really associated with any lung-related / breathing issues, which was the challenge in pregnancies earlier in the pandemic.

My sister & a friend both had Covid in late stage pregnancy. My friend had a mild dose; my poor sister was really sick but not in any worrying way, just a really bad dose, coughing, exhausted. She was 38 + weeks & delivered her baby about 10 days later, all well.

You & baby will be fine!

Glad to hear she is ok!!
I feel just very poorly with extremely sore throat and an overwhelming tiredness so been taking it easy in bed.

Glad she was ok! Thank you so much. Pregnancy is worrying as it is for us without the risk of covid. Flowers

I had it at 38 weeks - I felt a bit poorly but was absolutely fine, baby was fine, and is now a gorgeous 6 month old.

I must say the maternity team were excellent - I had regular phone calls and they sent me an oxygen meter. Also sent me for a scan to check baby.

Just to add - I was double vaccinated. It definitely stopped the more serious symptoms and was very much just a bit of a cold for me.

Yes, feel rough but the midwives weren't concerned when I mentioned it

I'm triple vaccinated but my last jab was in December last year. I'm wondering if I'm fully protected still or not.

I had it at 33 weeks and was unvaccinated. Apart from feeling really ill - myself and baby was fine, and triage wasn’t too bothered (I’m vaxed now)
