I’m 25 weeks pregnant and had an argument with my partner, he’s went to bed drunk and Iv went to bed not drunk obviously, I’m lying here trying to get to sleep going over the argument In my head and I had a Braxton hick at 11:15pm. Thought not much of it really I get them often, then another and I checked the time it was 11:20, thought that was odd but maybe just a fluke, then another at 11:25, 11:30, 11:35, 11:40 and then another not at 11:43. Baby is moving ok still, these BH don’t hurt they just feel like regular BH expect they seam timeable, which is odd they are usually just random.
is it anything to worry about? Should I wake my drunk partner or just leave him and head off to the hospital?

Since writing this Iv also had a BH at 11:50 and 11:55…., no more painful than the last I really don’t want to waste anyones time if it’s just BH that for some odd reason have got into a pattern. Can BH go into a pattern and it turn out to be nothing at all?

Please give your hospitals triage a call for advice, they'll be able to tell you for sure whether you need to go in for a check. It's not worth the risk of waiting in my opinion. Good luck and hope all is well

Get rid of your drunk partner for starters.

Aspidistra1 · 20/06/2022 00:18

Give them a call and get an expert. You’ve had the thought about whether you should call and you’ve made a post on here. I’d just go ahead and get proper advice, that’s what they’re there for.

I hope you went in OP. In my first pregnancy I got regular BH like this, every few minutes, starting from 20 weeks but because they went unmonitored and untreated (I believed it was normal) I ended up giving birth at 33 and.

In this pregnancy I have been to triage three times with similar and they ALWAYS say I was right to go.

call triage and go
