Exactly that. Are there any items I should look at getting? Any good books to recommend? Thanks!

Thanks! Do you have a pillow that you can recommend? There are so many to choose from on Amazon

I have a dream genii pillow and I really like it! Fancied a BB hug me, but decided I couldn't justify the cost. Also recommend the midwife pip podcast and joining a pregnancy yoga class - I'm 35 weeks now and pregnancy yoga is the one thing I'll really miss when I've given birth!

Pregnancy pillow for sure - don't need it right in the beginning but get one before you need one. I had mine from about 20 weeks. A bbhugme, so so comfy and worth every penny honestly.

Pregnancy yoga from second trimester onwards.

I'd recommend looking into hypnobirthing as well - positive birth company or birth uprising. I haven't had my baby yet so can't attest to how it works in practice but the education about the birth process and breathing techniques has helped me feel confident about giving birth. Do it with your birth partner because they need to be your support on the day!

I liked Your No Guilt Pregnancy Plan book, and my husband read that one as well. He also read How to be a dad and found that helpful as it's written by a doctor who is also a dad and it meant he feels informed about what's happening in my body etc throughout the pregnancy and how to support me.

Maternity clothes I would recommend vinted rather than buying new. I got so much good quality stuff there that had barely been worn!
