I am being Organised now I am on ML. I've been washing baby clothes today and trying to sort out my hospital bag. [proud of myself emoticon]

Shall I make myself a cup now? There's no chance of it bringing on any contractions is there?

This may not be true but id ask your midwife their opinion.

trish12 - I asked and then I googled and answered my own question then peggotty asked what I had found out so I copied and pasted ... sorry to confuse!
I was advised to start drinking it to tone up my uterus, but definitely don't want to bring on labour. Hope that makes sense?

yeah it does, lol. maybe i should refrain from drinking it then, as ive been told ive really good stomach muscles by the midwife, what do you think?

lulumama · 15/01/2008 18:48

it does not induce labour , it is a uterine tonic

not sure what stomach muscles have to do with it, you don;t push the baby out with your abs, !! but your belly might well ping back to washboard very quickly !

Hi, have been taking 2 tablets, 3 times a day for the past week. have still got 2 weeks left until due but wouldn't mind if he came early...have heard though that it doesn't bring on labour but makes 2nd stage quicker which ill be glad of if true after my first experience!
