Contraction like (bum) pains - 9 weeks pregnant

Any advice would be wonderful thank you!

For the past week I’ve been getting daily pains (the feeling is up my bum), they’re so painful if they happen when I’m walking I need to stop. The pains remind me of my contraction pains with my first but very short, then I get a feeling like needles up my bum! I am not constipated as I go daily, however when I sit on the toilet the pains tend to come on too. Could it be gas?!

I have had no bleeding or spotting but I am scared these pains could mean missed miscarriage?! I don’t have my scan for another month, has anyone else had these pains?

Thanks so much

I think you should contact your GP to check to be on the safe side. These types of pains can be related to ectopic pregnancies x

I had a early scan a few weeks ago and he said all seems fine, thankfully!

Shortly after I wrote this post, I developed a sickness bug from both ends (sorry TMI), I still cannot keep anything down (food or liquid) so I’m going to get through the night and call the GP or 111 tomorrow, as I feel absolutely dreadful 😩

Oh that’s good news! Not sickness bug obviously 😅 Hope you feel better soon, take care of yourself x
