Hello! Not sure how to start this but basically I’m posting on here because I’m absolutely terrified and have no one to talk to, plus I feel like you guys are experts on pregnancy etc!
Basically I’m a uni student and I’ve been feeling really ‘off’ recently and my period is 3 weeks late… I obviously bought a pack of pregnancy tests to find out and I’m very confused as one was positive and then the next day I did one and it was negative… 3 days later and still no period and I’m going insane, I really don’t know what’s going on or what to do 😣. Really just looking for some advice what to do next/ support? Please be kind as I’m aware this is a situation I’ve brought on myself x

Do a test on your first wee of the day.

As above take one first thing in the morning. Of positive go see a doctor to confirm. Try not to panic, in the UK there are options. You don't have to make decisions straight away.

And it will be Ok. It really will.

False negatives are common, false positives are not. Make sure you're using pink dye or digital tests. At 3 weeks late you should get a strong result

Thankyou so much, I’m just worried as my periods have always been so regular and now this, trying to think if it may be down to something else? Also the situation isn’t ideal because I’m not currently with the guy, we’re civil but wouldn’t say friends!

Don't panic. Get a digital test tomorrow. And if positive, there is still time to think through your choices. Don't rush. Do what you want.

Have you recently had a Covid vaccine?
They're known to muck about with your cycles.

I was 6 weeks late after 2 of mine.

Any update OP? I hope you are ok
