This is my second pregnancy and although it has been 4 years since I was in the first trimester with my son, I don’t remember feeling quite this tired.

My partner has been off work today thankfully so I’ve been in bed all day but I can’t believe how low my energy levels are. I have just finished crying because I honestly just feel that tired and it’s only gotten worse as the days gone on, despite having had 3 mini naps.

Is this normal? I’m not sleeping too great at night as I do have some mild insomnia, but for the most part I get at least 7ish hours.

I was napping at every opportunity around then too and then still having early nights and a full nights sleep no problem.

It is exhausting. Luckily from around 8 weeks things did let up and i'd only nap if i'd had a busier than usual day. By 10 weeks I think I was pretty much back to normal on the tiredness front.

Are you taking a pregnancy vitamin, or Iron/B12? If not, that may help a little?

I can't keep awake in the day and I can't sleep at night. It's like torture. I spend my days yawning and fighting bone crushing tiredness.
I'm 5+2 also

I'm 8 weeks and absolutely exhausted for the past three weeks or so. I'm worried about getting through work next week. I just hope it improves soon.

I was like that with my second and third pregnancies. I honestly slept at every opportunity. It got better around the twelve week mark.

Sadly yes this pregnancy has been the worst ever for me and once that morning sickness kicked in it was waking me up to be sick at all hours of the night and it was all day long. But that tiredness some days Iv slept 16 hours you would think I was growing an elephant! I’m 22 weeks now and feel much better I’m glad it’s my last and I’ll never have to go through that again lol but there is a light at the end of the tunnel for you! Also if you need sleep just let yourself sleep don’t try to get your energy up by having caffeine or anything just let your body do what it’s telling you it needs

I'm 5w3d and could honestly fall asleep anywhere and at any time!

Weirdly, it's more of a constant low-level tiredness than with DD a couple of years ago. With her, I would just get crazy tired in the afternoon and have to nap. This time the tiredness is less extreme but constant.
