When did you first feel baby move?

Hey, I’m 19 weeks and haven’t yet felt baby move. My midwife said from 18 weeks I should start to feel baby move but did reassure me that it can be several weeks later for some people so I’m trying not to worry.
Just curious when others felt baby and what it actually felt like the first time?
I am questioning every tummy flutter 🙂

I started feeling bubbles around 18/19 weeks. I had anterior placenta and apparently that means you can feel movements later.

I was 21 weeks and 5 days - got an anterior placenta. At my 20 week scan the sonographer said anything up to around 25 weeks is normal especially in a first pregnancy x

Oatsamazing · 26/05/2022 20:26

I didn't feel anything until 21 weeks.

1st baby anterior placenta and felt movements from 25 weeks but not big movements just like bubbles.

Current pregnancy posterior placenta and started feeling movements from 21 weeks.

I didn’t feel anything until at least 20-25 weeks, not a flutter.

Not until 22+3!

It'll happen eventually. Currently 31+4 and I think she's doing the cancan at present Grin

DD1 anterior placenta 24 weeks. DD2 posterior placenta 12w. Second pregnancy was more aware of the new feelings and what they were.

DD2 is 16 now and we still call her Frog!

23 weeks and it was like a throbbing. A lot of people feel flutters or bubbles but I never had that. I do have anterior placenta though.
