Hey,

I am currently 7 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I have booked for an early private scan this Sunday 29th, just want to check everything is going well.

Anyone else due around the same time? How have you been feeling.

I feel tired, peeing a lot more. Boobs were sore but bit better now.

look forward to your responses x

@PeanuttyButter I think it's normal I'm sure I had it last time! But it's just awful! I have started with a constant low level nausea too like all the time sometimes gets worse but mostly just lingering

PeanuttyButter · 30/05/2022 11:42

@Moosh18 I feel absolutely horrible. My stomach feels like a washing machine. I have constant low level nausea that peaks at about 4pm and then into the night. I've had a dicky tummy toilet wise and I'm just fed up with it all now.

Moosh18 · 30/05/2022 11:44

@PeanuttyButter sounds exactly like me stomach is off every morning when I get up for a few hours and then sickness starts getting worse on an evening x

Pheepa · 30/05/2022 20:10

I’m the opposite I think. Constipated and bloated which isn’t helping the nausea feeling. Wind in all directions!

Soontobmumof3 · 03/06/2022 19:11

Hey all, how are you all feeling. I am 8 weeks 2 days today. Feel so tired all the time. Literally had a 3 hour nap today.
I keep waking up around 430/5am.

I hope everyone is keeping well x

@Soontobmumof3 tiredness is definitely the worst symptom for me! I have sickness but mainly on an evening and some days I don't, but the tiredness is just awful x

PeanuttyButter · 04/06/2022 09:21

The sickness is the worst for me. Starts properly at about 3pm.

Pheepa · 11/06/2022 11:24

How’s everyone doing now? Heading towards 10 weeks.
close family and friends know already. We did the sneak peek gender blood test (had the blood taken at a local clinic so paid a bit more to eliminate the contamination risk!). It’s come back as a boy, we have 2 girls already so lovely news. Only the 4 of us know so far and planning to do gender reveal canons at a family bbq in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately my 12 weeks scan has just come through for the week after! Annoying as now I’m worrying we shouldn’t do the reveal until after scan. We had one at 8 weeks which was all fine and I’m still getting nausea, sore boobs and tiredness so pretty confident everything is fine but then see so many threads with MMC between 9 and 11 weeks it’s panicking me slightly!

Moosh18 · 11/06/2022 11:33

Sadly I lost my baby earlier in the week, I had some spotting and had a scan at Epu, which detected the babies heart had stopped two days prior 😩 had a d and c yesterday as was a Mmc,

I wish you all the happiest and healthiest of pregnancies xxxxxx

Pheepa · 11/06/2022 11:40

So sorry @Moosh18 Hope you heal quickly, sending lots of love x

Soontobmumof3 · 11/06/2022 12:49

@Moosh18 I am so sorry to hear this sad news! I hope you are ok! Sending you lots of love! Is this your first MC? Xx

@Pheepa aw that is so exciting! I didn’t even know this was a thing so early. How accurate are they suppose to be! Deffo going to look into this!

@Soontobmumof3 supposedly 99% but I’ve seen some reviews saying that they are much less. You can pay for an at home kit to draw blood from finger or there are a few clinics where you can pay slightly more and they do a proper blood draw from your arm by a trained phlebotomist. We did that at a clinic in York for £129. The at home ones apparently sometimes come back as inconclusive because mums don’t get a good enough sample from fingers and can also be contaminated by male DNA at home, even from pets!
you get your money back if it was wrong once baby is here!
we’re focusing on boy names and nursery decor ideas but won’t make any major boy purchases until after 20 week scan. Our 2 daughters were desperate to know!

Moosh18 · 11/06/2022 13:44

@Soontobmumof3 it's not unfortunately no, it's my second. Much worse then my first was this one though I was 11 weeks and it didn't happen naturally xx

Soontobmumof3 · 11/06/2022 14:04

@Moosh18 oh you poor thing! I am so sorry this happened. Are they going to investigate why it’s happened twice! Xx

OP posts:
Moosh18 · 11/06/2022 14:14

@Soontobmumof3 no they wouldn't as I've had a healthy pregnancy Inbetween, it's just so devastating to get to this point and lose it, we saw a perfectly healthy baby with a heartbeat measuring bang on at 8 weeks, then at scan 11 weeks showed a perfect little baby but it's heart had just stopped 😩😩 I'm hoping there was a reason like it wouldn't of survived on the outside and it was just saving us the heartbreak of having to make that decision at a later point in pregnancy xxx

Pheepa · 11/06/2022 16:05

@Moosh18 I’m sure that will be the reason, they say that’s why most miscarriages happen don’t they and you know you can carry a baby to term. Hope you’ve got good support around you x

PeanuttyButter · 11/06/2022 19:00

My gosh @Moosh18 I'm so sorry this has happened. I've had recurrent miscarriages including two MMCs. If you want to chat just DM me. Look after yourself xx

Moosh18 · 12/06/2022 07:43

@PeanuttyButter missed miscarriages just feel so so awful, my previous mc happened naturally and it felt less painful then this x

PeanuttyButter · 12/06/2022 09:39

@Moosh18 I agree completely, it's heartbreaking xx

Soontobmumof3 · 16/06/2022 14:32

Hey everyone! How is everyone getting? I have a private scan yesterday and they dated me 9+2. Can’t believe how much it’s changed since my 6+6 scan!
How is everyone feeling? X

I also booked a 2nd scan, they dated me 10+3 which was bang in line with my first one when I was 8+1 so that reassured me with growth being on track. My nausea is starting to ease off a bit which would concern me slightly but I’m 11 weeks now so having had 2 good scans and no cramping or bleeding/spotting I’m feeling positive still. Hope it’s not misplaced confidence. Still feeling pretty tired

Pheepa · 16/06/2022 16:14

Also can’t believe how much he’s changed in 2 weeks!

Soontobmumof3 · 03/07/2022 13:33

Hey All, how is everyone getting on?
How are you all feeling.
I had my NHS scan on Monday, should have been 11 weeks bang on but they dated me 10+5. Have to go back on the 20th July. Will be 14 weeks exactly.
