Hi,

Baby is 36 weeks, people seem panicked that we haven't packed our hospital bag yet. We will do it this week but could baby genuinely come any day now???

I think I'm in denial 😂😂😂😂

I get it. I'm 27 weeks and my group started talking hospital bags, my midwife gave me a hospital list at 24 week appointment, and just last week someone i vaguely know gave birth at 27 weeks!

I've been happily painting the office (haven't even started the baby room which is next on the list). It's really weird to think there will soon be a baby. Think i've been viewing bump as just a potential baby so long i'm going to get to delivery and be shocked to have an actual living human handed to me.

My first and third were born at 37 & 36 weeks. My bag wasn't ready with the 1st 🤣. Should've seen us running around throwing stuff in a suitcase.

I'm 36 weeks and just packed mine at the weekend, but this is my second and DD was a due date baby so perhaps I am more blasé about not going early! I'm having a section so I wanted to be a bit more organised than last time though, as I wasn't really prepared for staying in and hadn't arranged stuff to make it easy for DH to find as he did all the initial hands-on stuff like dressing her, etc.

This time I have possibly veered too far the other way though and have labelled bags for everything and stuff for every eventuality (including jelly babies Grin).

@ToCaden haha! Yes it's just surreal isn't it! I think doing the bag is the final thing to make it "real" and very imminent 😂😂😂
