Pink discharge at 6 weeks (warning Picture )

I am over 6 weeks pregnant counting from LMP.
Due to brown discharge last week I had scans done on Wednesday and yesterday where only Gestational Sac was visible .I have to go back for re scan on the 27th May.

Since last night,every time I go to the toilet I have this pink discharge (sorry for the picture ).

Not sure if I should contact EPU again or just wait and see .
Is this normal ?

I'm sorry you're going through this, it's very worrying and stressful. This could be entirely normal, there's no way to tell without that second scan and/or HCG levels.
I'd make a note of what's going on to report at your next scan but I doubt the EPU would do anything other than tell you to wait until that scan and go to A&E if you start bleeding heavily (i.e., through more than 2 pads an hour).

I agree with @ZoeQ90 , they've established that it's not ectopic, so it could be normal mild bleeding from somewhere, or the start of a loss. Sorry OP, I don't think there's anything you can do not apart from monitor it.

You are correct probably there is nothing EPU could do now anyway . I wish they have booked me for a re scan a bit earlier . I be over 8 weeks on the 27th.

We've tried for this baby for over 3 years and it's so stressful that I can't even enjoy this pregnancy .
First I had a CT scan not knowing I was pregnant then brown bleeding ,empty GS on ultrasound and now this pink discharge.

I've seen your name a lot on the threads.....were you on progesterone and aspirin to support early pregnancy? So many threads and users, hard to keep track 🙂

Sorry you are going through this, Op. It sounds really worrying . I had this too and the baby is now a uni student. I agree with @ZoeQ90 too.

Take progesterone and aspirin if you can. 27th is too far away tbh if you're feeling that anxious. Could you arrange a private scan in a weeks time? They won't be as thorough as hospital one. They won't measure the heartbeat. They will just confirm one is there and make measurements. I had some brown discharge and one incident of red spotting and every scan has been good since then. Baby is doing fine

I had a private scan 5 days after the one at EPU. Both scans shown only an empty gestational sac. 7 mm and then 0.97 cm 5 days later.
I booked the private scan earlier thinking that there would already be a heartbeat at 6w 4 d.

I guess I just have to wait . Hopefully beeling won't get any heavier. If it will I will ring EPU.

The discharge is back to normal now. I am having scan on Sunday so we will see.

I know this is an old post, but wanted to see how this worked out for the OP? I am also 6 weeks and starting to see pink discharge and getting worried

i had a miscarriage just over a year ago and have finally fallen pregnant again, if I work it out from my date of conception I should be 6 weeks tomorrow. I’ve just started with a small amount of pink discharge, please help.
