Suspected PE 31 weeks Pregnant

Went to A+E yesterday at my midwife and antenatal assessment clinics request concerned that I might have a blood clot in my lungs.

Did an ecg and bloodwork and have put me on blood thinning injections until I can get an appointment to have a VQ scan.

Just wondering whether this is all precautionary or they are thinking I actually might have one or not. The doctor didn't discuss my blood results just put me on the thinners and said to wait for the appointment and can't help but feel a bit worried whilst I'm stuck in limbo.

Hi, I just wanted to reassure you, people have these tests all the time and in alot of the time they don't have a PE, pregnancy is a risk factor but it certainly doesn't mean that you definitely have one, can I ask why they suspected one, and how long until your scan? X

Mainly due to breathlessness and pain between my shoulder blades with it so I'm assuming that's what's making them check xx

Hey OP, have you had your results? I'm currently pregnant and got diagnosed with multiple PE on both sides earlier this pregnancy so definitely know what it's like
