I am 18 weeks pregnant as of today and I am beyond exhausted like bedtime at 8pm and ready to cry - I have an 11 month old and am step mum to a 4 year old for 3/4 days a week (shared custody).
with my first pregnancy I was this tired but told I was iron defiant but am not this time, is there any other reason why I’m so tired other than it’s just because I’m pregnant!

I feel your pain OP. 2nd pregnancy here, and I am knackered 24/7. I just yawned now as writing this. No deficiencies that I know of. I just think bodies handle subsequent pregnancies differently. Tack on toddlers/children on top of that and it is just a very stressful experience. I find that the days where I manage to rest a bit during the day (aka nap during lunch) and not workout, I feel better handling my child at night. Otherwise I am half asleep in her bedroom while she is rampaging around the house at bed time. Hoping you at least have some child care in place so that you can switch off a bit during the work week. I honestly find Monday-Friday much more relaxing than weekends at this point! At least this isn't for much longer. You're almost half way and can do it :). Maybe some superfoods would help us, i'm sure an influencer would tell us to go eat an avocado or something!
