Did they tell us the wrong gender?

We went for a 16 week gender scan yesterday and since being told 'it's a girl', I've just not been able to shake the feeling they got it wrong.

We have a son but didn't find out his gender so I don't have his scan to compare and anything I've saw online just looks grainy.

Can anyone look at my scan and tell me whether this matches their girl shots?

I'll find out for sure at 20 weeks but that feels a long way off at this stage.

I just want to add we don't care whether baby is a boy or girl, just curious about this scan.

So I have 3 boys and have recently had ultrasounds privately at 16 and 17 weeks. I keep hearing stories of scans being wrong in terms of gender and it has me worried a little. Can anyone tell if this is a little girl and do you have similar potty shot scans I can see? (Obviously healthy baby is all that matters) thank you

We had an early gender scan at 16 weeks, 3 days. They've said its a boy - which at first glance of the scan you dont doubt. But when looking closer is this the umbilical cord? It seems to be attached to something that goes further back and round - i also thought it looked like a games controller!
The boy parts dont look particularly like anything either, just a rectangular shape?
Dont mind what it is either way just dont want to announce it and it actually not be a boy!

It's sex not gender. Language matters

Even doctors refer to it as a gender scan. Sorry but she ca refer to it as sex or gender if she wants.

These threads always make me a bit uneasy. They tend to give the impression that the baby is only welcome if it's of a certain sex.

I did early gender testing at 7 weeks and it said I am having a girl. We did a gender reveal and everything (I have two boys). Today at 15 weeks I went to see baby and confirm gender for fun and they said boy. This shot looks nothing like my two boys. Can someone confirm?

We truly thought it was a girl and have been praying for one. Obviously I will love my baby either way but this is devastating.
