IVF Success Stories please!

Hi :)

I'm posting this here as I thought there would be more success stories here than on the TTC pages.

I am currently going through my first round of IVF. I have my egg collection on Monday and then will find out if we are doing a fresh transfer or a FET next cycle.

I have been trying to stay as positive as I can but it really helps me to hear about other IVF successes! If you have any success stories which resulted in a BFP (preferably first round of IVF) then please share below as it would really help me :)

Me! I’m 9w4d with a 5AB fresh embryo from my first round! I’m still pretty anxious about each stage but have had two early scans at 5.5 and 6.5 weeks which showed heartbeats and the embryo doubling in size so I have everything crossed!

I had uterine polyps with cell changes so decided to become a single mum by choice and went ahead with donor sperm.

@Emilyh92 we only ended up with one 5AB in the end and that little one is currently snuggled up in my arms at 7 weeks old today - you only need one! Best of luck for your rounds ❤️

I hope you don't mind me jumping on. Seeing all of your success stories has brought me some hope. I'm 30 with PCOS and am using donor sperm. I have a daughter (7) from a previous relationship which caught naturally but tears show that I don't ovulate.

I am hoping to be starting mild ivf in my September cycle but have been extremely worried about it not working first time and I don't have the available funds for a second round 😞😭

My SIL got pregnant first go. Did have a quite a few eggs in reserve but didn’t need them. Got pregnant naturally when her IVF baby was 4 months old! Massive shock. Good luck!

If it reassures you at all my first round was successful and I’m now 13 weeks :)

I was so doubtful it would work first time or even at all as so many other things hadn’t worked. I’m still a little bit in disbelief haha.

@Emilyh92 Congratulations on your pregnancy! I was also successful first cycle first transfer with my now 21 month old DD. I only have one frostie and have been given the green light for a transfer next Thursday . So I'm looking for people who've managed 2 from 2! I am so incredibly thankful for our DD, if this works it would be amazing but I feel like the odds are probably against us. It's a 4BB, daughter was a 3BB.

I had my planning appointment yesterday and am starting medication day 21 of this cycle.

Like I said, I can only afford one try so there's a lot riding on it working, not sure whether I'm being too hopeful 😭
