I’m 13 weeks pregnant and for the last 3 days I cannot stop going to the toilet. Literally going once or twice an hour in the day, and 2/3 times at night. Anyone else? Is this normal? I went to the doctor yesterday who confirmed my urine sample was normal so I’m confused!

It's normal! Your uterus gets big and presses on your bladder, before it gets too big for the pelvis and your bump "pops" out the front

Welcome to pregnancy. If you thought it was going to be this magical experience like I did then you’re in for a disappointment 🤣

I had this as well. It gets better once your uterus pops out above your pelvic bone. At the moment it’s still probably behind your public bone pressing against your bladder.

unfortunately it then gets worse again towards the end of pregnancy…. Make sure you do your pelvic floor exercises.

Ah yes, I remember that stage. Basically in the first trimester both uterus and bladder are under the pelvic bone. So as baby and uterus grows your bladder gets very squished. Don't worry. You're nearly at the stage when the uterus moves up from out of pelvic bone and bladder gets more space for a while. Think I was 14 or so weeks when the several times a night pee trips slowed to two or three.
