Hi so at my 39 week appointment I explained to my midwife that my baby wasn't moving like he usually does, he was moving here and there. She said that this is normal as towards the end of my pregnancy baby has less room to move so movements will feel different, but as the week has went on my baby has gotten more and more quiet and I'm now worried I have phoned in this morning and expressed my concerns but they don't seem to be too worried as I can still feel him move sometimes. Yesterday he only moved when I poked him I can't see how that would be a good sign :( at my last appointment baby's heart rate was fine can a baby be in distress if heart rate is fine? My partner is saying I should go in and demand to be seen

@mumof2littlemonkeysx
It's good that you went in but given their reaction when you initially mentionned reduced movements and the under staffing comment after induction talks perhaps next time you feel as if baby is quieter than normal you should go in and ask for a sweep or induction? Just to be on the safe side?
It must be quitw stressful
