Isn't it too early for movements ?

So read a couple of threads know where a lot of women around the same gestation as me (14+ weeks) are feeling movements. Is this the norm? I always thought it was more like 18 weeks or so. I haven't felt a thing, the odd flutter from gas and that's it.
This is second baby but a big gap of 7 years, do you think that makes a difffence and it's more like a first pregnancy again?
I felt mt tummy earlier and couldn't make out anything, definitely not feeling my uterus !

Yep that's early. Everyone's different and where your placenta is also affects how early you'll feel movements. I didn't feel anything until 20 weeks.

It's different every time. Dc1 I started feeling around 18/19 weeks. Dc2 I swear I could feel from around 12 weeks and definitely by 14 weeks. Dc3 I couldn't feel at 18 weeks and panic booked a private scan - he was totally fine, but I had an anterior placenta so I think that was cushioning him. I started to feel him around 20 weeks. Depends what's going on, where the placenta is, where the baby is etc.

I didn't feel anything until 20 weeks (earlier with subsequent pregnancies).

I didnt feel any proper kicks until 22 weeks, had a few flutters at 20 weeks but only for two days then nothing. It was my first pregnancy.

At 15 weeks with my second he was making sweeping actions, I assume with leg or arm, I could feel him all weekend then nothing for 10 days 😳 then the kicks started.
I think it depends on their location and the placenta too

I could feel movement from 14 weeks and see it from 17 weeks. My midwife said it's not that uncommon. I am short in stature- not sure if that makes a difference

I mean I think it's amazing that baby can be felt so early! With my first I went to my 20 week scan and the sonographer asked if I was feeling movements, I said no and he said well you should be ! That night I felt the first little pop!
I do wish I could feel this one, it would help with the anxiety I think.
