Congratulations babybob. I only saw this thread yesterday when it was too late to offer any advice re your labour, but I am very pleased to come across the news of your new arrival. What a big baby! You did do well. I had forceps and stitches with my first (but NO epidural - wasn't posssible in the hospital I was in ) and I well remember the discomfort you must be in now but it all heals very quickly and you have a wonderful baby to distract you. Best of luck.

Wow!!! Babybob!!!! Just spotted this - congratulations! How anyone - especially with a first pregnancy - can be as composed as to post during a labour and then calmly announce she's back with her baby is beyond me. Well done!!!
