*Hi, I've a cold and really struggling with a blocked nose for days now.
Saline solution is making no difference.

*I am not sure if I can use nasal decongestant? Studies online are mixed; it’s category C for pregnancy.

I’ve used Oxymetazoline for a day but now not sure if I’m okay to use it? If not is there anything else that would help? *

Sorry forgot to mention - I am 27 weeks.
Vicks rub is not helping either.
Neither is breathing over a bowl of steamy water. The nose is just so unbelievably blocked :(

Hi, I was really struggling with congestion and sinus pain during pregnancy. I spoke to my GP because the sprays on the shelf said to consult with a doctor and they prescribed a steroid spray which I used with the saline spray. It made such a huge difference!

Decongestants aren't safe in pregnancy but Breathe right strips were a lifesaver when I had a cold. They aren't medicated, they just help open your nose up so you can breathe easier

Thank you @GrowBabyGrow I just bought some nose strips, hope they help !
There are such mixed reviews on decongestants, half of obstetricians say it's fine in smaller doses but I do feel nervous.

@sunshine423 I'm overseas so reached out to my GP just worried pharmacies will close by the time he responds. But I'll keep trying with saline solution
