Evening primrose oil to induce labour?

Hi, currently 5 days over my due date and sort of losing my mind.
Anyone have any experience with using evening primrose oil to induce labour? My midwife suggested I insert 4 into my vagina each evening. Has anyone any experience with this? Or any other tips for inducing labour?

I think I’d be worried about that giving me thrush!

If it was that easy they wouldn't need the induction methods used by hospitals.

It always induces my periods early, so there might be something in it!
