Currently 29 weeks pregnant with second baby. Growth scan on Monday showed baby is big

Hi exact same happened to me! Had another scan at 32 weeks and baby still hasn’t moved. Had a scan again at 32 and baby moved into correct position.
I had loads of questions if baby remained transverse and was told it’s not a major issue, they would just want to know for c section but other than that the baby would be fine.

I had two transverse lies, both big babies over 9lbs who turned in the last couple of days. Are you long bodied?
I had natural births with both.

Thank you @Hiddenvoice that’s reassuring! Hoping they do move as I know there is still time.

@WhiteCatmas yes DD was 9lb 2oz! And I’m very long! 5ft 10! Did they want to keep you in towards the end if they were still transverse?

Ahh! I’m the same as you! I think it means they have more space. I was told to call them as soon as my water broke and not stay too far away from a hospital.
I was very overdue nearly 42 weeks with my second and ended up being induced. He had turned before the induction as they couldn’t induce me if he was transverse.
I did not go that overdue by choice.

My 2nd was breech and over 95th centile. It wasn't a concern till 32 weeks when I had a growth scan. I started yoga and stretches to create more space for baby to move, was still breech approx 35 weeks, I started accupuncture to try and help. At 37 weeks I had another scan, still breech and had an ecv, that didn't work and I was given a date for elective section at 40+1.

My waters broke at home at 38+4 I think. I want straight in, but not an emergency iyswim and DS was born by emergency section a little while later. It was technically an emergency section but there was no rush or emergency about it, totally chill and calm, I think it helped that the dept was quiet that night. He was 10lb 7lb.
