Is there blood in mucous plug?

So I'm 36 weeks almost and last night I had a tiny amount of very pale pink blood when I wiped, then this morning there was more followed by more redder blood, I rang triage went in they checked me for infection all was fine, and was told my cervix was still closed, and it possibly could be part of my plug, however With my first baby after I lost my plug I went into labour the next day. Does this mean labour near ? Babies moving as normal I was sent home and told to come back if there is any more blood there are pics attached below if any one has had similar experiences.

My first was born at 39 weeks

I always lose my mucus plug when labour is imminent, like a few hours before, and after my waters have broken. There is blood is my plug, but not like on your picture. My plug is more like a big pink tinted piece of jelly, and it goes all in one go. Good thing you went on to get checked. Are you having any cramps or back aches?

I had a spot of blood in my mucus plug, but it didn’t look like that. It came out in one big dollop! You will know when you’ve lost the plug, you’ll probably hear it drop in the toilet 😂 I went into labour 6 hours after losing mine.

Yeah I was checked and they said everything looked fine

Any ideas on what you think this was?

Like the others, mine came out at once. I wiped after peeing and was like "hmm there is a massive jellyfish on that tp, what the hell is happening?!". By memory it wasn't bloody at all.

I have now experienced the same pink discharge but more of it I wiped like 6 times and there was quite a bit of light pink blood I called triage they said to just keep an eye on it
