Baby hates being scanned

A bit of a silly post really but has anyone else had a baby or has a baby that really hates being scanned??

I'm 32 weeks and so far had five scans from 12 weeks onwards, due another in two weeks for growth check, and we've yet to get a decent picture or view of the baby. I've been rolled all over in various positions during anatomy scans, had the midwife jiggle my bump to try and move the baby and done all of the usual tricks but this baby still rolls herself away, tucks her head under her hands and even brings her feet up!

Yesterday at the growth scan (32 +1) it took the lady about ten minutes just to find her properly, she couldn't get a head measurement or face shot and it took ages with lots of rolling around to get the leg and tummy measurements she needed.

Before the scan baby was transverse lie (has been for at least 20 weeks now) but during the scan she moved herself to breech and stuck her top half up into my ribs. Back to transverse as soon as scan over.

Anyone else have a little bugger of a baby too? 😄

My youngest child used to kick like mad whenever I was examined. The midwives used to say this baby will be a feisty one. They weren't wrong!

Mine hid for his fetal heart scan so we're going back in three weeks. I'm only eighteen weeks though.

One of mine was a hit funny about scans, but just coincidence. She was the only one I had an early scan with to find out the sex. I had to leave and come back. They told be to go for a walk and eat something sugary 🤷‍♀️
