I'm 35 weeks and the last couple of weeks I have been getting shooting pain the the cervix. Midwife said that baby is head down so this is the cause but all morning it's literally felt like someone is putting a needle into my cervix and I'm genuinely struggling with it!!

I guess I'm wondering if anyone has experienced similar and if they managed to find a way to relieve this?? I've tried my birthing ball, sofa, laying down, moving around but sure enough every time baby moves it hits me. 😫

Yep, I got this. Lightning crotch!

It was terrible, out of nowhere I'd get shooting pains like an electric shock or like you described, felt like someone was shoving a knitting needle through my cervix.

Happened once whilst I was shopping in Tesco, I jumped and started wriggling around. I must have looked a right sight! Haha

Unfortunately, mine didn't go until baby was born and I probably was getting it on and off for the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy
