Can implantation feel like pulsing?

Yesterday, while driving, I felt a series of intermittent pulses very low on my left hand side. I know I’m ovulating from that side as I had a scan earlier this month. The pulses only lasted for about a minute.

I often read that implantation feels like sharp pinching, or nipping, this wasn’t that.

Just wondering if anyone else felt a pulsing and went on to have a BFP - or could it have been Greggs steak bake I had 45 mins previously?!

I felt it in a series of pains that night, I was sure that's what it was and the dates lined yo perfectly 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've been pregnant 5 times (although only have 1 child) and currently 25 weeks. This time my implantation felt like pulsing (previously it had only ever felt like cramps) so I think it's a good sign! Good luck!

I think I’m 5DPO and I just found this thread - was it implantation? I just had exactly what you have described here.

My implantation felt exactly like that. I knew I was going to be pregnant because I'd never felt anything like it. It was like someone tapping me where my left o are is for about a minute, then it would atop for a few minutes and then start again.

Hello! I was wondering if anyone went on to get a BFP. I’ve just had the exact same thing 8dpo and I’m really hoping it was implantation!

Averagetemperature · 26/02/2024 19:59

i know this thread of from a while back now but did you happen to get a BFP?

It turned out I had deep infiltrating stage 4 endometriosis, hence the infertility… I had no idea when I started this thread.

However, after failed IVF and two surgeries, I am ten weeks pregnant today! I felt the implantation at 2am one morning (the morning of 8dpo). It was fluttery, and felt like someone had tied a string to the back of my belly button and was pulling on it from behind. Smile

Oh wow congratulations! Thanks for getting back to me.
my mum has endo aswell. I hope that you are doing ok as I know it can be very painful!

I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Thank you, although in one way of looking at it, I was fortunate as even though it was so advanced, my cycle was fine, not heavy, not especially painful. My main symptom was daily lower back ache that got worse on my period. 🤷🏻‍♀️ OTOH I wonder, if I had have had more severe symptoms, maybe it would have been diagnosed much earlier?!
