Covid in household…

Our nanny just text to say she is v unwell and has a positive covid test. We (me, DH and 1 year old DTs) are symptomless but tested anyway. DH is positive the rest of us are negative. Would you try to stay away from DH? I was relying on his help to cover our nanny being off so I could work (from home). I am 17 weeks pregnant and supposed to have a midwife and obstetrician appt this week. The thought of solo twin childcare for a week is exhausting….!

My husband and 2 toddlers tested positive a few weeks ago , I am pregnant so was concerned but it was impossible to isolate . I made my hubby sleep in a different room and use a different toilet , I also had him do all nappies / baths with the kids . I also opened windows as much as poss for ventilation. But other than that no changes to normal life and I didn’t get it . I think you just gotta try what you can but don’t stress yourself out as you may never get it . It’s worth trying some of the above all the same . I also took the week off work as it would have been too stressful otherwise .
