Pink discharge 8 weeks please read

I'm 8+4 and had pink discharge just now after going for a wee. I'm so scared this is another miscarriage, I had a mmc in November. I've got no pains or anything
I only had a scan Sunday and saw the heartbeat can't believe it

I had very heavy bleeding with both my pregnancies but neither resulted in early mc. I was told during both that bleeding in early pregnancy is very common. With DD2 I had a heavy bleed at 7 weeks and felt certain the worst had happened but my pregnancy continued and was very healthy - she's a strapping 6 year old now!

Thank you to all sharing positive stories.
What is the difference between bleeding and spotting do we think? Sounds silly but unless it's full blown period type bleed I can't tell ! The small clots I had are still worrying me

I had a bleed that lasted for three weeks and it started the day I had a private early scan and saw a heartbeat! DD is sat in front of me now stuffing her face.

Hope all goes well for you. Early pregnancy is such a nerve wracking time xx

I had a bleed at 9 weeks. When I say bleed it was bright red and filled two pads jn two hours. I thought it was all over. Scan two days later revealed all fine. It might just be things settling in.

While bleeding and clots are never the best sign, what may have looked like scary clots could have been old congealed blood. I had what looked like small blackish clots at 7 weeks and all was ok in the end, it was some implantation blood coming out. It’s positive that the bleeding has now stopped and I hope all goes well at the scan tomorrow.

From lots of googling it does seem to be quite common, but seeing blood when you're pregnant is never nice is it ?
Also through lots of googling I've seen stories of miscarriages starting this way, on and off. I just hope it stays away now. Tomorrow can't come quick enough

Happy to update baby is fine ! She couldn't really tell where the blood was coming from, suggested it could be old blood from implantation

I’ve had it go both ways. I wouldn’t let them do an internal scan. They should be able to see abdominally now

Really pleased to see your update. I bled heavily between 6 and 10 weeks with DD2 - very stressful time as like you have suffered a miscarriage in the past. Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly

They did it through my stomach. Why wouldn't you let them do an internal ?

I feel I'm in exactly the same situation. Had a scan on Sunday and saw this little bean at 6w6d with a heart beat. Since my BFP I have suffered with lower back pain and intermittent symptoms. I had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks 11 months ago which started with rust brown spotting. After my scan and again tonight I have had some light pink discharge when I wipe and period pains...cant help but think the worse. I did mention it to the midwife who didn't seem concerned but I cant stop worrying. I havent even told my partner I'm pregnant as I didn't want him to have to go through another loss so feeling very alone

Oh I'm so sorry to hear this. It's such a tough part of pregnancy. I had brown, pink and red discharge intermittently from weeks 6 to 9 and currently 25 weeks pregnant, so the worst doesn't always happen. A heartbeat at this stage is very good.

I would advise you to talk to your partner though. I know you don't want him to go through it, but you shouldn't have to go through it alone either.

Hi i am 9 weeks pregnant whenever i pee and after i wipe i always saw some discharge before it was pinkish but today its look brown and red mix sticky discharge i am very upset i tell my doctor on call about my pinkish discharge she said it’s normal if you have no pain or its not red my first appointment on 4th of April i am very upset can anyone face this situation so plz help me
