Blue/purple colour on leg

I'm 38 weeks pregnant and noticed the last couple weeks my legs keep going weird colours. Any ideas why this could be and should I be concerned? Pic attached. TIA xx

I have a very similar same thing on both legs. Mine is from stretch marks (gosh knows why knees and thighs need to stretch there in pregnancy!) combined with left over hyperpigmentation from a rash I developed around 38 weeks because my skin is much more sensitive in pregnancy. Have you noticed any itching in that area? Could be a similar thing or just an increase in blood flow in general.
I would mention it to your midwife just to check. When I showed mine she said it’s just from the stretch marks and me scratching my legs.

How strange! I haven't really noticed any itching except if I'm really hot. Guess just ANOTHER random pregnancy symptom 🙈 My teeth have also moved! No idea why that would need to happen either.

Yup that’s what mine is like. Fine most of the time but if I’m too hot then it gets itchy. I’m now 40+1 weeks and apart from not looking particularly pleasant I’ve not had any issues with it apart from being itchy. I’ve been tested for cholestasis too and it’s not that. Just one of the many “joys” of pregnancy it seems! I had no idea pregnancy was like this 😂. As soon as one horrible symptom disappears another seems to pop up.
