Hi, I'm looking for London private clinic for NIPT test, does anyone have recommendations?

Hi! My friend went to The Birth Company in Harley Street and recommended them to me. I've been there for a scan and thought they were great. Will also be getting my Harmony done there.

I’ve seen The Fetal Medicine Centre (FMC) recommend a lot but it seems they’ve just changed their pricing a package options in the past few weeks. I’ve just emailed them for confirmation

They used to offer a viability scan (at 10 weeks), harmony test and nuchal scan (at 12 weeks) for £400. So two scans and the harmony test. Now it seems that you only get the viability scan and harmony test for £400 so you’re missing out on that extra scan. If you want the nuchal scan instead it’s £500.
I also think they may now charge £600 for the CVS/amniocentesis if the Harmony Test suggests the baby has one of the trisomy’s

It really depends on the test you want eg harmony vs panorama vs vision etc etc. Portland Street Hospital is great for panorama testing.

I just went local to me and got the vision one done. Remember they all just send the blood off to central laboratories so there's no point focusing on the clinic as they won't be analysing it themselves. All they do is a quick scan to check you're having a viable pregnancy and then take a blood sample.

@MrsD2021 thank you, that's very detailed info.
@Juno231 thanks for the reminder, I found that same as you said many clinics sent the blood sample to the same lab, so probably not much difference at all

Just thought I’d come back to say I’ve had a reply from FMC to say that they do offer CVS/Amniocentesis free of charge if their harmony test suggests T21, 18 or 21. They confirmed they no longer offer the viability scan, harmony test and nuchal scan for £400. Now you only get one scan included. To be fair, this seems in line with other clinics I’ve looked at so I’d still be likely to book with them based on previous recommendations

I used the FMC before Christmas (on the old package where it was two scans and the NIPT for £400!) and I thought they were excellent.
