Two miscarriages after one healthy baby

I had a healthy baby early at the age of 18
DD now nearly 5 years old

However I have recently suffered from recurrent miscarriages, anembryonic pregnancy (blighted ovum) twice

Has this happened to anyone and then had a healthy baby afterwards?

Am I just going to keep miscarrying?

Is there something wrong with me and DD was just my miracle baby without knowing?

I'm sorry for your losses :( I had my daughter who is now 3 and after having her I suffered 3 miscarriages before she was 1.
One was a chemical pregnancy, one was a blighted ovum and last one was a miscarriage found at 12 week scan but baby had passed at 9 and half weeks, after these I got pregnant again and started taking low dose Asprin, I had my son from that pregnancy. I am pregnant again, 12 weeks currently and all is well! Again taking Asprin!

I know what it's like to blame yourself for them, think there's something wrong with you but a lot of the time they are unrelated to anything but after having 3 you should be referred to have investigations

I’m sorry your going through this. I have children and never miscarried but when we started trying for our youngest I got pregnant two months in a row, both months I got positive tests…. Lines didn’t get darker…. Then I began bleeding. That happened in the September and the beginning of October. It was awful. I’d never suffered a loss before and didn’t understand why now, was healthy, in my 20’s. Just didn’t make sense. I didn’t even have time to tell the dr I was pregnant as it all happened over a few days. At the end of October I got pregnant again and the lines got darker but the day my period was due (I tested early and got a positive 7dpo) I began bleeding again! I went to A&E this time as it was a Friday night and I just needed this noted down somewhere that I was suffering early miscarriages every month! The bleeding stopped and I didn’t suffer a miscarriage this time. My pregnancy went ahead and he was born at 38 weeks. He’s almost 4 and we said we should try for another but 3 times I got pregnant last year and 3 times it didn’t last more than a few days. We stopped trying because it was heart breaking then I got pregnant without trying and I’m 8 weeks now. So there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Have you spoken to your doctor? I do think 2 in a row is just unfortunately bad luck and not anything the doctors worry about I think it’s when it’s 3 or more in a row they start looking into things but it can be something as simple as having blood tests and needing some medication
