I'm 19+5 and I'm positive I have been feeling baby move for the past week or so but nothing today. Is this normal as it's still early for movements?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Any changes in usual movements should be investigated ASAP.

Call your midwife.

Sorry, pressed sent too soon.

I hope all is okay, better to get checked out Thanks

Also have a drink of cold water and eat something sugary while waiting.

If you are 19+5 any stop in feeling movements will be because your baby has likely moved to a place where you can't feel them.

However as a PP said you should phone your midwife and check.

I would just go and get a check. Am sure it's ok but always better to check these things.

Thanks everyone! I had a jiggle around and can definitely feel her moving a bit, I think I made her angry from the constant prodding 😂 pregnancy is so stressful 🤦‍♀️

I always found something cold and sugary made my son move. Rocket lollies and ice cold coke we're a constant in my house from 18 weeks xx

It’s early. But the best thing to do is drink a sweet, cold drink, and lie on your left hand side for 2 hours. If you don’t feel anything, call your midwife

That early they still have a lot of space and are quite tiny so you may not feel movements very consistently. I'm almost 29 weeks and only for the past 3-4 weeks have been feeling him daily, but I do have an anterior placenta, if yours is in the back then you'll probably get consistent movements sooner. :)
