Hi everyone.
I've seen some of these threads and love reading them.
I wanted to post my experience to see if anyone has had a similar experience?

I've been TTC for 8 months now.
My cycles vary in length. The last one was 34 days. According to my app, on a 34 day cycle then I ovulated last Thursday 17th Feb, although I had symptoms of ovulation a day or two before that.
Me and my OH DTD 14th, 16th and 18th on week of suspected ovulation.
20th I noticed what I assume was light spotting. It only last one day. 21st I had some white creamy CM (sorry if TMI)
Ever since I've had cramping and what feels like a pulling feeling down below.
This morning (23rd) I've had some nausea. Had to run to the bathroom but was only retching, nothing came up.
Has anyone had these and gone on to have a BFP.
It's too early for me to test yet as AF shouldn't be due till next week.

Keeping my fingers crossed that it's a good sign. I have a daughter who is 8 and would love a sibling.

Sorry if my post is confusing, I'm new here ❤

Hey @Walkinthesun !
I've just found your post...What was the outcome if I may ask? Don't know I'd you're still on this site.
I'm ttc #3 (with new DP, I have two from a previous marriage and DP has got two as well). I'm on 2nd cycle of ttc.

Tww is very stressful 😫 x

RambamThankyouMam · 12/11/2022 21:51

At 5dpo the embryo won't have implanted yet so I'm not sure if there will be any symptoms.

SoInLuv · 12/11/2022 21:59

That's correct, @RambamThankyouMam ..althoughvo know one lady from the forum who had implantation at 5dpo (very rare).

@SoInLuv

Hi, unfortunately for me I didn't get a BFP.
I tend to symptom spot.
Months later and still no luck for me. Myself and my OH are starting to have tests done to see what the problem is not.

Please keep me updated on yourself and sending baby dust your way 💝

@Walkinthesun
Hello there! So happy you replied 💓 I've jsut written a nice message for you and lost it completely:( I'll get back to you later on, for sure.

Sending buckets of baby dust your way, too 💝

Hi again, @Walkinthesun ,
I'm sorry you didn't get your BFP back in February :(( May I ask how old you are? I'm 40..this is my 2nd cycle of ttc. I've done so much research, downloaded a free PDF of It Starts With The Egg, we both take some of the recommended supplements there.
Like you, I symptom spot a lot.
Last month I had ny hopes up, had one bit of rusty spotting mixed with CM but much layer in my cycle, on cd28 and that month my cycle was suddenly longer (32 days)- maybe because of some of the supplements I take, or maybe due to me having my copper coil out early October (I know.. how bizarre...although non hormonal it's cause cycle delays to some women apparently).

Here I am approaching the end of the tww...
9dpo- again rusty spotting just once when wiped
10dpo- wine shade of pink spotting when I poked myself 🙈and moments later when I wiped too- before it was pink, there was some light red blood mixed with the cm.

I read that spotting (whether implantation or not) is a good sign to a woman- it means are hormones are doing a good job, apparently.
I used to have spotting when on the coil and also before I had the coil in, I'd normally have 1-2 days of spotting before most of my AFs.

Last cycle, after the copper IUD was out, there was no spotting before my period.

I'm now waiting anxiously (trying to stay calm 😬) for the result...

Have had on and off mild cramps in lower abdomen and low back pain from about 4-5 dpo. Also in the thighs. Don't remember the leg mild cramps in previous pregnancies...

Like you, I'm planning to get tests done if no luck for the next several months.

Can I ask you, are you doing them privately or via your GP? I hear GPs won't do certain tests, right?

What day of the cycle are you on now?

Best wishes!

Walkinthesun · 16/11/2022 22:46

@SoInLuv
I am 31 years old, almost 32!
Is this your first child that you're trying for?

Hopefully spotting is a good thing. I get that every month before AF so fingers crossed everything is working fine. My partner did his test, got an appointment with the GP end of the month to discuss his results.

I went to my GP and told them I was having fertility issues (you have to be trying for 1 year before the refer you but I'm not sure if it's the same rule if you're 40)
I've had my hormones checked via bloods and they were fine. So next is my partners test whos results we are awaiting then we go from there.

I am on CD 29 today. Mine tend to average around 30/31 but I have noticed some spotting so I assume AF is coming.
Haven't really tried this month very much. Had a family member pass away so been abit of a stressful month.

Thank you so much ❤

Good morning @Walkinthesun ,

Firstly, I'm sorry about your loss in the family- may they rest in peace 💚

Oh, I see- so you start with the blood tests for hormones and semen check at the GP. Wishing you good luck, and wow, bless you- you are still so young!

So yes, I'm 40 but don't look or feel my age lol 😅 and no, not trying for first baby- I already have two children- a 12 year old and a 7 year old.
My partner has two as well. So in between us we have four 😅

However, we've realised we would love (so badly...) one child together and hence why ttc #3 since October.

Oh, you're on cd29 and I'm on cd27 right now!! We are basically cycle buddies as they call it in here 😊

Ps: I've had a mild sore throat since yesterday and so does my youngest one, not feeling too well and the weather is horrendous 😫

Have a lovely Thursday 🤗

SoInLuv · 17/11/2022 07:18

*cd 28 I am on today @Walkinthesun xx

SoInLuv · 01/12/2022 19:14

Hey! For anyone searching about implantation spotting/bleeding at 9dpo or 10dpo here's my update if anyone interested:
I had some orangey/rusty spotting (just one wipe) at 9dpo
Then at 10dpo I had dark pink spotting (2 wipes) and now I think it must've been due to implantation as now I'm 5w+6 😊
40 years of age, baby #3, still in shock. Second cycle was out successful one.
X

Walkinthesun · 08/02/2023 09:53

@SoInLuv oh wow!
Congratulations!!
How are things going???

I'm in CD30 and no sign of AF.
I checked my cervical position this morning and was super high up. Lots of creamy CM too!
Keeping my fingers crossed 😍

Hi @Walkinthesun ! Nice to hear from you 🙂
Oh, I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you then! I hope you've had a positive result 🤗
I'm all good, almost 18 weeks pregnant now, we know what we're having and are both so happy 😊
My back is absolutely killing me though, from about 4pm on and off till bedtime so I'm having it rubbed every evening. Plus tiredness. More tired when I was younger and preg with my older two children uffff.

One thing I feel like sharing with you- I has an Obstetritian appointment last week and when I mentioned that I used to check my cervix in those 2 months of trying- he wasn't impressed and he said nobody should do it as it can cause miscarriage.
I said I'd stopped doing it but tbh, every one ttc does it, it even asks us on fertility apps to enter your cervix position, your CM etc.

Anyway, he was the 2nd professional to tell me it's dangerous for a woman to be checking her own cervix.

The 1st one was when I was like 4 weeks pregnant and called 111 as I touched my cervix and it felt as much open as it does on a morning before I get my period- I was basically told off gently for touching it. Also I was reassured my open cervix didn't mean miscarriage and I was crying, panicking that I was going to miscarry.
The 111 said about hiw your cervix doesn't close fully once you've had children blah blah blah- and I had to politely insist that I did know that but I knew my own body and my cervix was always open but like a small slit, not open as much as it does on the 1st day of period.

Anyway apologies for my long post!

Keep me updated and best wishes to you xxx
