Hi all I know there has been a lot of these threads in the past but I wanted to start one for the present day as lots of mod cons and new things are coming out for babies all the time.
If you’ve had a baby in the last couple of years what could you absolutely of not lived without ? And also also if anyone has had any good recommendations off friends or family lately. Anything from bottles to bouncers to baby grows that washed best. Am currently nearly 25 weeks so am at the better get this baby sorted stage.
Thanks I’m advance.

There isn't an awful lot of things a newborn actually needs so quite a lot of extra things. Things I've found useful and have used (and am currently using with newborn) are:
Car mirror and window sun shade
Sleeping bags (when they reach the weight for them)
Cellular blankets for sleeping and bedside crib (we have Snuzpod)
Breast pads (I found Lansinoh to be the best)
A portable night light that dims for night feeds

I would say an angel care bath seat and a perfect prep machine (if bottle feeding). Had these for my now 6 year old and currently 23 weeks with them both on my list. I’m sure there’s lots more but they are two I can remember being great. Will be following this post.

Perfect prep machine
Nursing pillow (I done mixed feeding)
Lots of Muslins
Angel care baby seat
We have found the hoover playlist on Spotify great as a white noise option when out of the house to help settle baby

Congrats on the (upcoming!) baby x

Tuppence and Crumble star blanket. We used it all the time and found it much more convenient than getting a baby in and out of a pram suit all the time.
I think we’ll get the morrk car seat blanket next time around (and dig out the star blanket).
Also, not for the baby but sports cap bottles for you. Just everywhere so you always have a drink to hand for when the baby is breastfeeding/napping on you.
Congratulations!
