What do pregnancy fatigue feel like

I can't tell if I'm tired or just being lazy?! Like I literally cannot be arsed to move today, it's effort to get up and do any jobs round the house. I've had two power naps today and still like it. I'm 6+5 today so wondering is this the time it usually kicks in?

I had two weeks where I honestly thought I was dying. Slept Friday night to Saturday afternoon then same again Sunday. Dr said it was totally normal.

Like having my batteries taken out, very scary

Complete exhaustion. I was napping at lunchtime and after work (WFH, without that nap I struggled to string together an email without mistakes).
Eased off around 11 weeks, nausea stuck around til about 13-14 weeks.

I've been practically on the sofa for the last five weeks. My partner had to take 2 weeks off work to look after our 2 year old as I couldn't function, and on the back of that had 2 weeks annual leave. I'm now 13 weeks and have had severe nausea and sickness. I'm only just STARTING to function a little bit. It feels like I've had Covid (I haven't as far as I know) and can only imagine this is what it feels like to have long covid. Horrible.

Seems normal then. I was struggling to work out if I'm just being lazy or I'm actually tired 😆 I feel like I've got nothing in me today, it took me ages to get in the shower. Just the thought of doing things is making me tired !

I had the same worry! I realised it was more than just laziness when I'd nap as soon as I got in from work, wake up to eat and STILL get a full nights sleep. Hope your energy picks up soon!!

If you've ever had the flu, I'd compare the fatigue to that. Just extreme tiredness. Difficulty getting out of bed in the morning, desperate need for a nap in the afternoon, bed early at night. And that's on a good day, on a bad day I could barely get up at all, moving from the bed to the sofa, and then back to bed later, and too tired to even do any usual lazy activities like watch TV or read, literally just laid there doing nothing.

First trimester was awful. I was sleeping 10/11 hours a night, having an hour nap on my lunch break (thank god for WFH), and then sometimes falling asleep on the sofa after work.

I don’t think I ever slept so much and it wasn’t something I could help.

Interestingly, my iron levels were excellent and really high according to my midwife. I was so, so sure I had an iron deficiency because of the tiredness.

Literal exhaustion... Can't even move your head from the pillow type thing. I had this from weeks 10-12 x
