Hi everyone. I’m really lost and looking for some guidance so please help me.

I found out I was pregnant in December 2021. I was having some bleeding and at my first ultrasound at the hospital I found out I had an empty sac (blighted ovum) when I was supposed to be 7 weeks. I took medication on the 26th December to help the passing of the sac. My bleeding lasted 2 weeks and stopped around 12th Jan 22. After a few days I started to bleed again but it was more so light bleeding. It was brownish and light (like old blood). This eventually stopped around 21st Jan. my husband and I started trying straight away again because I assumed I wouldn’t get pregnant this quick and I struggled a lot with the loss and grief. A few days ago I suddenly had the urge to do a pregnancy test even though I had no symptom’s. My pregnancy test had a faint positive line. I then did a Clear blue pregnancy test that tells you the weeks. It shows 2-3.
I’m really confused. Could I really be pregnant or could this mean something else? I overthink and assume is it showing positive because there might be something left inside from my miscarriage (although I did a pregnancy test after my first bleeding as advised by nurse and that came out negative which is what it should be). I’m terrified to be happy and I can’t bring myself to believe that I might be pregnant.
I always thought that I couldn’t test any earlier than at least 3 week. Also it’s only been like 2 weeks since my second bleed how can I be pregnant this early?
Has anyone experienced something similar to mine? Please help me I just need some support and guidance.

I don't think the weeks on Clearblue is that reliable (mine always said 2-3, hadn't progressed to 3+ even at 7 weeks). It is possible you'd have a positive test now as you could have conceived on 21st Jan.

I conceived v quickly after an MC, within 2 weeks of bleeding stopping, and my local EPAU agreed to scan me to check it was definitely a new pregnancy (even though I'd had a blood test between which showed hcg was v v low so retained tissue was v unlikely).

Thank you so much for your reply. Did you call them straight away when you got a positive or did you wait a little while? From 21st Jan it's only been 2 weeks so I'm wondering if they will say it's way to early to see anything X

I called straight away and they booked a scan for a week later. I'm 23 weeks now.

The only difference in this pregnancy compared to the 3 MCs was being prescribed progesterone and low dose aspirin. Obviously I'll never know if it would have been fine without them, it may have been!

Congratulations!! I'm so happy for you and your little one growing in there.

I really hope that's the case for me. I've been ringing all morning but they haven't been answering but I'll keep trying. Thank you so much ❤️
