Hello - I know there is a main thread for this but folks seems to be a bit further along than where I'm at....
I'm just looking for some folks in the same position as me.. I had a positive test on Tuesday and have been feeling really odd about the whole thing. Just on cheapies from amazon - I haven't even wanted to do a digital or other branded test.
I suppose I'm feeling quite detached from it and I don't really feel excited. No big symptoms yet but perhaps a little bit of nausea and weeing alot!
Just wondering if anyone else here is in the same boat I had a misscarriage back in November and have only just started to feel better in myself from it.
Perhaps we can feel odd together?

Hi @teateatea56 congratulations ! I'm in the same boat, got a postive frer on Wednesday evening. In total shock as we had been trying like 7 years since we had our ds ! Have had to have clomid and ivf, one failed round, one cycle and one which resulted in a mmc in November too. You can imagine my suprise to find myself naturally pregnant after all we've been through ! I understand your fear, I am not going to test constantly as it makes me worse. I have nipped on the due October 2022 thread but not sure I'll get on there because everyone seems to be doing cb digitalis and I just don't want to go down that road...

teateatea56 · 05/02/2022 12:11

Hello @thunderonlyhappenswhenits Congratulations too! Wow you've had a big journey! We were just at the start and Novembers pregnancy was a we'll just not be careful and see. I've been doing quite a few tests but I think its better when I don't because you just end up analysing strength of lines... My lovely husband has just come home with clear blue digitals because I mentioned they might help it feel a bit more real but I'm just going to leave them in the box for now....
So glad to have found someone else in a similar boat!

Aw it happened really fast for you guys then!

I'm going try and think differently about this one, every pregnancy is different isn't it ? We can't control the outcome no matter how much we worry and stress, what will be will be. Don't get me wrong I'm scared, I really am, but I can't change anything !
I personally don't want to go down the road of line comparing and checking the weeks as for me I know it'll feed the anxiety. But we're all different and if it helps you then that's good ! I will 100% do another test but I won't allow myself to fall down the hole I did before with doing one every few days.
When is your due date ?

frenchie4002 · 05/02/2022 14:43

I had a MMC in October & found out last week that I'm pregnant again @teateatea56 so know exactly where you're coming from. It's odd. I'm very up and down about it all - sometimes incredibly excited, sometimes anxious, sometimes detached. I've also had covid this week so I don't think that's helped as I've been sat on my own with too much time to think about everything! I am trying to take one step at a time and will be glad of the welcome distraction of work next week. I'm hoping to book an early scan at 7 weeks to help put my mind at ease but it's hard not to be mentally preparing for the worst constantly isn't it? Look after yourself x

teateatea56 · 06/02/2022 10:49

Sorry! Got swept up with the day yesterday!
I'm due 14th October.
@thunderonlyhappenswhenits that sounds like you've got some good perspective. Your right we just have to ride the wave and see what comes.
@frenchie4002 congratulations and hello! Glad to have found another person in a similar boat. And yes totally get the mentally preparing for the worst. There's times I'm totally convinced its not real. Sorry to hear you've had covid and hope your on the mend!

When are you both due?

thunderonlyhappenswhenits · 06/02/2022 16:01

@frenchie4002 sorry to hear you haven't been well!

@teateatea56 I'm due 9th October, so weird as my son was due the 8th October but like 8 years ago !

arianasky · 06/02/2022 18:16

Hello all, sorry to hear about your losses 💕 I'm in the same boat also had a MMC in October a chemical pregnancy last month and got my positive last Thursday, I'm happy but also so so nervous I want to think all will be ok but I feel that feeling is forever tainted now 😞

thunderonlyhappenswhenits · 06/02/2022 19:05

@arianasky congratulations ! And sorry for your losses too.
I know exactly what you mean, I said to my partner I wish I could just be excited and not have to worry about the what if's all the time. I am really trying this time though to think more positively ! When I feel them bad thoughts creeping in I just try and distract myself.

How's every going symptom wise ? I'm 5 weeks today and other than major bloating and the odd twinge I can't really say I have any lol
That's not true actually, I'm a super bitch !! Honestly even the cat is scared of me atm

Cindy974 · 06/02/2022 20:24

Sorry to hear everyones losses it truly is awful 😢

I had a MC on Christmas day and found out last week I'm pregnant again without having a period in between. Me and DP are absolutely over the moon and I have lots of symptoms so thats helping me, I just can’t shake the feeling of worry and checking everytime I go to the toilet. I hope I relax soon and start to enjoy it because I can’t take 9 months of this anxiety!

Sending love to you all for happy and healthy pregnancies ❤️

arianasky · 06/02/2022 21:38

@thunderonlyhappenswhenits thank you 💕 I'm so sorry for your loss also, dizziness is my main symptom at the moment and also tingly breasts and nipples and pinchy feelings in my uterus. I'm 4+5 tomorrow going from nhs dating but I ovulated a few days later than usual so would actually be 4 weeks tomorrow

teateatea56 · 08/02/2022 12:39

@arianasky I know just what you mean with a tainted feeling. I can go almost a day without it crossing my mind

Hello@Cindy974 congratulations!

I'm quite light on symptoms at the moment which isn't helpful but I am deffo tired and have been a little crampy and I'm deffo grumpy!

I've found some charts the show the dropping in percentage chance day by day which I'm finding helpful.
I did a digital test at the weekend and intended to keep that to look at instead of using up all my cheapy sticks but the batteries have run out so I've just got a blank screen! Ho hum!

Hello everyone - how are you all getting on? Morning sickness has ramped right up for me the past few days. The next few weeks are sticky one as this is where it all went wrong last time so I'm feeling quite overwhelmed with having to just sit tight.

Tigerlily7590 · 23/02/2022 16:36

Hi guys! I'm just under 4 weeks pregnant after medically innduced miscarriage last time at 10 weeks as it wasn't developing. This is after years of TTC and 3 IVF attempts! Tests are looking better than last time (god i've spent a fortune on them!) but i'm worried as no nausea or sore boobs yet! Going for a privste scan in 3 weeks but god knows how I'm going to get through this wait!
