2nd Trimester - Tested positive for Covid

I'm 15 weeks pregnant. I've been poorly for 5 days. Did a LFT the other day which was negative. Done another today which is positive.
Has anyone else been pregnant and had Covid?
I'm already on Clexane blood thinners for my pregnancy (I'm aware pregnant women are prescribed these usually as the blood as coagulate).
The midwife thinks it sounds like Omicron due to my symptoms.
I'm worried about the baby. Anyone else had this? The midwife said the baby should be absolutely fine but I'm still worried.

Had covid at Christmas I was 3rd trimester. Midwife told me to rest keep fluids up but also potter round the house to keep good blood flow. I didn't need the blood thinners. Baby seems fine took me a little longer to recover than my husband but no lasting effects

25 weeks and tested positive last sat. Felt like flu symptoms for 1 day and the rest of the days fine except a snotty nose.

Midwife just said to drink plenty of fluid and paracetamol if needed. Baby seems to be fine and movements the same.

Just waiting for the 10 days to be over now so I can get some bloody fresh air.

Hope you feel better soon x

@BugMummy
I'm glad everything worked out well for you both. Yes the midwife said that it might take longer to feel better. I'm drinking loads of fluids which I usually do anyway as I drink lots of water. I'm not aching like I was. I was aching everywhere but that seems to have passed now.

@oneandonly95
Thank you. Yes I was the same. The first day I was aching so much, I couldn't bear it. Since then I've had a banging headache which has been constant. Sort throat, coughing, sneezing, runny nose etc.
I'm glad everything has been ok for you and hope you're feeling better.

I’m 40 weeks now and have just had my first negative LFT on day 6. It’s not been much more than a cold. I’ve received both doses of the vaccine plus the booster. Didn’t need any blood thinners, midwife just paracetamol, fluids and rest, just as with a cold.

If youre feeling unwell then don't forget you also need a PCR, lateral flows are only for picking it up of you have no symptoms. Hope you're feeling better soon

I had covid at 17 weeks, now 20 weeks and just had my scan, baby is perfectly fine. I was also taking clexane as I was only 5 days post surgery when I caught covid! Best of luck x
