Hi all.
Had a scan at 6w 2d and all looked fine, saw and heart a healthy heartbeat. Now tested positive for covid at 7 weeks, looking for reassurance as I’m feeling really worried. Has anyone had covid in early pregnancy and all still been ok?
Thanks in advance

I don't think it makes a difference what stage you're at (unless it's the third trimester, then it's supposedly more risky). I had covid at 17 weeks and wouldn't have known if I hadn't taken a LFT and PCR (both positive). I only took them as a colleague who I'd been working with tested positive. I had very mild symptoms, not even like a cold (unvaccinated)

Have you had the vaccine? If so, that would be a big source of reassurance.

No I’m not vaccinated and don’t intend to be, I’ve also had covid before so hoping that antibodies will help.

I have no advice for the first trimester as my sister that had Covid was 31 weeks, unvaccinated and fine. But drink plenty of fluids and just rest. Take vitamin C too to help boost the immune system! Seeing as you have already had COVID you more than likely won’t be that ill as you have already produced antibodies :)
