Too similar names? Aibu?

Hi!

So I have a son already called jack, pregnant with baby boy number 2. Love the name Jacob but have been told it's soo similar to jack.

Thoughts please? Thanks 😊

I agree they are too similar, especially if Jacob gets shortened to Jake at school.

Why don't you head to the MN baby names board to see if anyone has any suggestions for similar names that you might like?

I agree - it will lead to confusion. Most of the Jacobs I know all call themselves Jake as they get older which would be even more confusing.

Use it as the middle name?

Sorry Jack and jake - way too similar. Even Jacob is Tbf.

I like all those. I was thinking I liked Jack and Leo together then I realised it might be because I watched Titanic a lot when I was a teenager!
