I think I've miscarried and need advice

Really hoping for some help.

I had a scan at 6 weeks at epu, sac was there but no baby, I had another at 7 weeks yesterday sac had grown but still no sign of a baby.

Epu are making me wait until I'm 9 weeks just to be sure it's over. I feel really really low. Plus I'm suffering with morning sickness which now feels even harder to deal with.

I have a 2.5 year old and I'm struggling to get through the days. And now I'm scared I'll start bleeding when we're out!

Has anyone been through this? I don't no what to expect in the coming weeks?

When I miscarried it was just like a period then the bleeding got heavier when the foetus passed.

Take some spare underwear and a pair of leggings and sanitary towels with you when you go out and about and hopefully you'll be ok.

Ah, I'm sorry to hear that. A two week wait is a lot to ask.

I've had 2 miscarriages (6 wks & 12 wks) and they were different, in ways I wouldn't have expected.

As for a bleed starting, I'd just wear 2 pads and don't worry too much further on it. It may not happen.

Do you have any other medical resources, like local GP's? Sorry I'm in australia so don't know the NHS system. No chance of another scan in 1 week instead of 2?

@Dustyblue unless I pay privately they won't offer another scan in a week unless I start bleeding. The private scan places are very thrust in your face baby baby so I'm trying to avoid them.

The nurse kept saying wait for the baby to grow "I'm rushing it" but the doctor and lady who done the scan seemed pretty negative. So I've had no real advice to be honest. And after doing a bit of research at home it doesn't take much to work out not seeing anything at 7 weeks is alarm bells.

One possibility is that it is a missed miscarriage. I had a 12 week scan that showed sac and foetal pole but no baby, but my body hadn't rejected it

If this does happen, they will offer medical management via tablets or a D&C under general

Hoping it isn't that, but just so you have the info in case

Re bleeding, it is like a heavy period so keep sanitary towels on you

It's a horrible time waiting I know
