Interpretation of Growth Scan results

Wondering if anyone can help me before I disappear down a google rabbit hole.

Had a growth scan today (private) and whilst the sonographer seemed unfazed by results - I want to make sure that’s the right reaction.

Ultimately;

For HC (head circumference) baby is measuring on target for gestational age and was put as “38.1%”.

For Femur Length measuring 1 week forwards for GA and put as “80%”

However, Abdominal Circumference is 6 days behind EDD and is measuring as “18.3%”

Ultimately the estimate foetal weight comes in bang on target - but I have concerns around the Abdominal Circumference.

Anyone had any experience with this / thoughts on whether it’s something I need to escalate to my midwife.

Thanking you all FlowersDaffodil

No need to be concerned at all. The measurements are all in range and growth scans are notoriously inaccurate.

Id be sure to tell your midwife and show her the results and get her opinion. My first pregnancy i went for a private growth scan at 31 weeks and was told my baby was on the small side but nothing to worry about and was given a graph where my babys meausments were just above 'the worry line' he called it, the following week when i saw my midwife, she rushed my appointment and told me that private scans are for fun and she hears people getting told their baby is small/big from them all the time and not to worry and refused to look at the mesurements and graphs i brought allong with me.... fast fallword to 36 weeks I had persistant high blood pressure and didnt feel right so went to the day unit to be checked, they meaured my bump small (my midwife was meausing me wrong!) And they were shocked at how my midwife dismissed my scan results, they took one look at them and said i should have been reffered for growth scans and booked me in for a growth scan the following working day (it was friday so monday) the growth scan showed my baby had eather stopped growing or slowed down and meausured 33 weeks when i was 37 weeks! They induced me that day which failed and he was born emergency c-section weighing just 4lbs 5oz! Allways trust your gut if your worried and get a seccond oppinion if you feel you need to!

@WotsitMum thanks for sharing. Luckily I am under both consultant and midwife care due to a health condition unrelated to pregnancy but being monitored. So I will address it with both of them and ensure both do my bump measurements as well. Xx

@BornIn1995 I'm having growth scans every 2 weeks due to gestational diabetes and Polyhydramnios and there's huge fluctuations as they don't always get the right angle etc. Also, in my case they're worried about large abdominal circumference and from what they've said, they're not worried about it unless it's out of range.
