Reminds me of satanism... Blair Witch and Linda Blair of Exocist fame.

Also music "blaring out"
But fundamentally I actually do like the name. Go for it. Your Blaire will blast those other associations out of the water!

Wasn't there a Blair on the Facts of Life (80's American sitcom)? I like it!

Only read OP and first page. Love the name Blaire. Would sound even more lovely with brogue. First thought was of an old american sitcom called 'facts of life' where a beautiful actress played the role of Blair. And give it three or four years and the ex pm's name won't be at the forefront of people's minds - but as soon as people see her, i'm sure any associations would pass in a flash.
