Ebf posotive ovualtion line

Hey all
We have a 11 month and ttc another baby hopefully, I am ebf though and period still not returned, i have read you cant conceive if ebf, I am transitioning to formula in a sippy cup but i can tell its not going to be straight forward! I have been looking at my ovulation dates and on 28th dec I got a line just as dark as the co ntrol line, does this mean I am ovulating? If i wasnt ovulating because im ebf would the test just be blank? Im honestly a bit confused, amazing what our bodies can do but yeah 😅any help would be great, I did think we wont bother to ttc until i have given up bf but read of some sucess stories to x

Ovulation during breast feeding is different for everyone. My periods returned right away after I had DD even though I breastfed, sil didn't for 2.5 years whilst she breastfed. Good luck 🤞

Are you having periods?

The advice for using breastfeeding as contraception is that it’s only reliable if baby is under 6 months old, feeding at least every 4 hours in the day and every 6 hours overnight, and you’re not having periods.

As your baby is older and eating, you may well be ovulating. If you’re having periods then you will be ovulating and can get pregnant.

I got pregnant while still breastfeeding, for what it’s worth.
